Identify Opportunities
Each trading division focuses on its assigned market and follows a structured process for participating in potential trading opportunities.
Introducing
Multiple Trading Divisions, One Coordinated Portfolio.
Crypto markets do not move uniformly. While some positions take longer to recover, other markets may present different trading opportunities.
FRE Rotation explores a systematic approach to coordinating multiple trading divisions within a single portfolio, while accounting for open positions, trading costs, capital requirements, and risk.
Conceptual illustration, not a live dashboard. The markets below are examples, not a list of active divisions. Five markers suggest a structured ladder. They are not a specification of entries, size, or spacing. Lines show that divisions belong to one portfolio. They do not show capital moving between divisions.
FRE Rotation
Multiple divisions
One portfolio
Different cryptocurrency markets move at different speeds and can experience different market conditions.
One trading division may complete a profitable cycle while another continues to hold open positions. Some positions may remain underwater while other divisions are waiting for new opportunities.
Looking at one trade or one division alone can give an incomplete picture of the portfolio.
FRE Rotation approaches the challenge from a portfolio perspective, examining how multiple divisions behave together across changing market conditions.
01
Each trading division focuses on its assigned market and follows a structured process for participating in potential trading opportunities.
02
Ladder-based execution organizes entries within each division according to its trading process, rather than treating every entry as an unrelated decision.
03
The combined portfolio is evaluated across completed trading cycles, open positions, costs, capital usage, and overall risk.
When a trading cycle reaches its take-profit target, FRE Rotation evaluates the next eligible action. Depending on the strategy's criteria, the division may rotate into another cryptocurrency market, re-enter its existing market, or wait for a suitable opportunity.
Rather than relying on a permanently fixed sequence of trading pairs, the strategy evaluates what comes next according to its criteria. Each division follows its own decision process while remaining part of the broader portfolio.
A take-profit event completes that trading cycle. Other divisions may still have positions open, including underwater positions. The portfolio is not automatically clear of unrealized losses.
Three possible paths
The division selects another eligible cryptocurrency market for its next trading cycle.
The division starts another trading cycle in its existing market if that market still meets the strategy's criteria.
If the criteria do not justify either action, the division waits until an eligible opportunity becomes available.
A portfolio can record realized profits while still carrying significant unrealized losses. Understanding the complete financial position requires looking beyond completed trades.
The profit or loss recorded from completed trades.
The current gains or losses associated with positions that remain open.
Fees and funding payments that affect net performance.
The amount of capital tied up in open positions and therefore unavailable for other uses.
How far the portfolio's value falls from a previous peak.
How long positions or the portfolio take to recover from adverse market conditions.
Whether sufficient funds remain available to manage the portfolio through unfavorable conditions.
A profitable trading cycle does not necessarily mean the overall portfolio is profitable.
FRE Rotation must be evaluated using the complete financial picture, including open exposure, trading costs, capital requirements, and risk.
Evaluate the combined performance of all divisions rather than focusing exclusively on individual trades.
Organize trading activity around defined processes instead of making every decision reactively.
Recognize that open positions consume capital and that available capital affects what the portfolio can do next.
Use actual trading results, trading costs, funding, drawdowns, and position history to determine whether the strategy works.
FRE Rotation is designed to investigate whether coordinating multiple trading divisions can produce a sustainable portfolio-level outcome across changing market conditions.
These questions must be answered through research and trading evidence, not assumptions.
FRE provides tools for working with structured trading strategies and tracking trading activity. Builder is where you plan and structure a trading setup. Tracker is where you monitor trading positions.
Trading cryptocurrency derivatives involves substantial risk, including the potential loss of capital. Open positions can lose value, market conditions can remain unfavorable, and trading fees and funding payments can reduce returns. Multiple trading divisions do not eliminate market risk, and profits in one division do not guarantee that the overall portfolio will be profitable. FRE Rotation is a strategy framework, not a guarantee of financial results.
